Chahab heads up R&D at the Learning Planet Institute. He has over 25 years of experience as an academic, an entrepreneur, and a large company executive. After heading up a computer vision research team at Inria, he founded the startup LTU where he was the CEO. A few years later, the startup was acquired by Jastec Corporation, a listed company based in Tokyo. He spent seven years at SAP as Vice President of Research & Advanced Development. He later joined EIT Digital, a European digital innovation and education organisation, as Chief Innovation Officer.
Chahab graduated from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech. He has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and is a former fellow of the MIT Media Lab. In 2002, he was recognized by MIT's Technology Review magazine as one of the world’s top young innovators.
